Come to Rome!
The 1st International Conference on Ethics of Engineering Life (ICEEL) invites young (< 35 yrs.) researchers to come to Rome and discuss with leading experts the ethical challenges of engineering life. If you are a researcher (PhD or Postdoc) in the field of bioethics and/or molecular systems engineering and would like to participate in this first ever and one of a kind occasion, this might be your chance.
We have planned two special Young Scientists Sessions, where eight selected young participants will have the opportunity to present their views and opinions on ethics of engineering life in 10-minute talks (see the program). You can submit an abstract after registration under Conference > Submit abstract to be considered for a presentation.
We also offer a limited number of travel grants to young (< 35 yrs.) scientists residing in low-income countries (list), with a particular focus on young female researchers, starting from grants covering travel expenses all the way up to covering the whole conference package (travel costs, accommodation and registration fee). More info can be found under Young Scientists > Travel grants.
